Can someone tell me if I purchased the OLY 1.7 lense for my kodak 7590
would I be able to get in closer for taking pictures of birds,or would I be wasting my money? It has a 10x zoom already but sometimes I'd like a little more without using the digital zoom,Does anyone else used a telephoto lense on this camera,and what results do you get? Sandy |

I believe the TCON-17 is the one you want. You'll need the lens adapter for the 7590 from Kodak or an online vendor.

Hi Sandy;
The TCON-17 is a good choice for an add-on for the Kodak. The next-better lens would probably be the Raynox 2020 Pro, but it is almost twice the cost. With the Oly, you can extend the critical distance between yourself and your subject... that is, how close you can get before the @##%$ thing flies away. ![]() Tom, on Point Pelee, Canada http://www.darwinonline.org/index.php?cat=11078 |
