I have a DX7590, and all in all I have been pretty happy with its performance. However, sometimes the zoom doesn't cut it at the ball park. Also, most shots at night games have come out blurry. I was wondering what my lense options were, I already havean adapter (55mm). Thanks for any input.

Try the TCON-17 lens. It will multiply by 1.7x. Here are some examples. You might also try the Kodak forum here. We welcome all questions about the Kodak line and a lot of us have the 7590.

I give a caution to anyone using even the 10x zoom that comes with the 7590, GET A TRIPOD or learn how to shoot hand held with the zoom built in the camera before trying a teleconverter. If you're getting blurry pics now from camera motion, the teleconverter will only make it worse. Most of the time this is the root cause of blurry or seeming out of focus shots!!! Here is one shot of a Saturn 5 rocket taken from 4 to 5 miles away, hand held. I dumped about 10 photos and only kept one. A tripod would have caused almost all of them to be keepers instead of throwing them out. First shot is wide angle the last one is with 10x zoom, 3x digital zoom and a 1.7x TCON-17 teleconverter lens added. Haze, smog and heat waves made the polorizing lens almost useless at the long distance.

As for nighttime shots this is as close as I've gotten. These were taken from Approx. 3 miles away and go from wide angle to full digital zoom and a TCON-17 lens. Hand held.

You can also go here to see some Cokin A-series filter shots taken with the Kodak DX6490.
