Hi all,

I'm looking for a filter for my Canon PowerShot A95. Any type would do, since I just want to use it to protect the main lens, so I can just replace the filter if it gets scratched. The mount is 52mm, and from what I've seen online, they act like you need to buy some adaptor to mount anything else on the thing. Can I buy any 52mm filter and mount it on the camera, or do I need to buy this adapter? Thanks for the help.

Yes, you must use an adapter. For you purpose, look at the Lensmate adapter with 52mm mount and 37mm filter threads.
