Hi. I've got a Canon Powershot G2 and I'm looking for a wide angle lens and an alternative to the standard Canon accessories. I've found the raynox site and I'm keen to get some reviews on raynox products.
I'm specifically interested in the DCR 720 (0.72x), but if anyone has any feedback about the quality of Raynox products and if it could be considered reputable, that would be much appreciated. Regards Reuben Helms |

I have the Oly C4040. I ordered the Pro185 telephoto len from www.2filters.com. I have been very happy with the lens and the results I have received. Call the folks at www.2filter.com for more assistance.

B & H lists the Kenko as Pro 1850, not Pro 185. Is this the same lens?
I have 43mm lens thread on c5050. The Kenko Pro 1850 lists as 52mm. Will this be compatible?[/u] |

Yes it is the Pro 1850. It is 1.85 telephoto. I looked at the lens instead of my memory.

What happens if you don't shoot at full tele - how far can you zoom out before you have distortion?

You want to use full zoom when you add the telephoto lens. You will have Vignetting at the wide angle setting. The Vignetting will start to fade when you have zoomed to about 75% of the zoom power. This is true for my camera the OLy c4040.
