I am new to photography (retireing and have motor home. This will be a great hobby) and am really into insect, spider, bug pics. I know this is not a "high end" camera but it does do some nice photos. I would like to know if there are any (and if so where to get them) mounts, lenses etc, that I can get to make my "bug" pics the best I can. Thanks for any info. Oh here is one of my spiders (resized way down for net)

There is nothing "officially" available to attach close-up lenses to your camera. You perhaps could fabricate something (PVC pipe etc.) that would attach close-up lenses but I'd only do that if I could switch off the the automatic power down (battery save) as you don't want the lens retracting while you have something attached to it.

You're camera does have macro (close-up) focusing mode. Experimentation is in order with that mode at WA, telephoto and intermediate focal length to see what image sizes and working distances you get. If they're sufficient for your subject great, if not go camera shopping.
