i bit the bullet and purchaced the panasonic DMW-LA2 close up filter. its built for the panasonic lumix dmc-fz7 so im assuming it should suit it well. anyone have any expirience with this lens ?

What I checked DMW-LA2 is just adapter with 55mm threads for attaching filters and converters so that itself doesn't do anything.

apologies. the lens i got is the DMW-LC55. i also got the lens adapter to attach it to the camera.

Hmm, $79 is a bit steep. You know what diopter strengthit is? It doesn't seem to say anywhere.

im pretty sure its 4+ diopter. if its not great il just sell it on ebay and buy the raynox set of lenses. just a little inconvinient. il let you all know how it performs when i recieve it.
