I am thingking about purchasing this new Raynox lense for my Fuji s-5000. Does anyone have any comments about these? Are there any better lenses to use on the S-5000? Has anyone seen good prices yet?
Thanks for any help, Ian:| |

Ian, i have the raynox 2.2x addon. i think i posted sme pics in the forum about the raynox and the collpix 5700. anyway here are 2 shots i took with my fuji s602z (very similar to the s5000). the butterfly was taken at about 5 meters. obviously yhe picture is cropped quite a bit and sharpened up. the bleeding hearts was done in macro mode with the raynox 2.2x on the camera. that was at about 2 feet, i think. in macromode at full zoom allows focus from about 4 inches back to a few feet and gives an image spot of approximately 35 - 40 % of the viewing screen.

There's Henrys http://www.henrys.ca/ and Vistek http://www.vistek.ca/ but I don't know if they have the DCR-2020...you may have to get it from the States like B&H, http://www.bhphoto.com
Here's the distributor of Raynox http://www.edmamarketing.com/dc.htm located in Markham, Ont. You might be able to get some info from them. |

Hello ppl,
I don't have a Fuji but I do own an Olympus C740 andwas looking forward to buy a Raynox DCR 2020 PRO myself but looking at the prices, it's a bit expensive, not less than 200 US $, while the 1.7x Tcon of Olympus is like 100$. I'm a raynox fan as I do have the DCR - 250 Super Macro lens which is a charm. I'm now confused of which one to pick up as I need the zoom and quality as much as I need the money ![]() Is there any hope we will find the prices drop down for Raynox tele-lenses, or any place people can buy them cheaper? Cheers |

here's a shot using the raynox 2020 in macro mode with my fuji s602z. not the best but not bad for this lense.
