I'm leaning towards the raynox 1540 also at the moment...cost of cuorse also comes into play.....I was just adding things up on lens mate for an adapater, raynox 1540, lenscap, microfibre cloth, hoya polarizer, plus rubber lens hoodand it comes to about 110 GBP incl.shipping.....in the uk the canon and sony tc are about 100 on their own and the raynox is about 75

of course everything I've read about the 1540 is also positive I wouldn;t buy it solely because its cheap!

Mine is aluminum, feels solid and has taken some hard knocks without a dent or crack. With it, you can grip the camera more like an SLR.
