Default tiffen 2x vs. olympus 14b / b300

I know the b300 is the bomb, but can anyone give some feedback on the tiffen 2x teleadaptor? Shooting with OLY 2100 UZ. Thinking about getting a 43mm Tiffen 2x, and a step up ring to 49mm, mainly for sports photos. Can't really afford the 300 right now, am I wasting my time with the tiffen?

I've never tried the tiffen 2x on my 2100, but from what I've heard, it sucks. The B300 is hard to find, and expensive. I've heard the 14B works great, but a little costly. If you don't want to spend alot, I would suggest getting an A200 for your 2100. B&H still has some in stock, so you should hurry before they run out. In case you're unfamiliar with the A200, it's a 1.5x with 49mm thread, so no need to buy an adapter for your 2100. I bought one, and it works well.
