Hi there,

Just bought a Lumix FZ50 and wanted to try some close up shots after seeing so many beautiful marco in this forum.

Can someone recommend mewhich lensis appropriate. But before that, i need some lesson. I have gone thru' some threads here and often come across +3 diopter or +5 diopter. Also come across Nikon T6 or T3. How does all theserelate to distance and size of object. My interest is more on taking the full body of butterflies or dragon flies, but not so much onthe extreme macro that you can see the compound eye of an insect. But nevertheless, I like to hearan explanation about all these lens coding jargon to cover the entire range of macro photography so that Ican gauge what to purchase instead of buying on trail and error.

Hi Shene,

I gone thru above web site and there is nothing talking about marco lens. This web site is about wide angle and tele converters.

Can someone explain please? Thanks
