Default Add-on lenses vs apperture ?

Hi
I have a S602 and i'm currently looking for add-on lenses. There are those from fuji, a 0.75x and a 1.5x, expensive ; and some other brands with 0.5x and 2x less expensive.
Fuji states that his lenses do not change the aperture values (f.). Does that mean that cheaper ones will reduce the aperture and how will the camera handle that ? By opening the aperture a little more ? (a display f2.5 will in fact become a f4 due to add-on lens)
Thanks for your input.

Most of the add-on teleconverters will not change the exposure. I think the wide-angles are the same. In other words, if the scene is evenly lit, about the same amount of light is reaching the sensor whether you're using a converter or not.

The "cheaper" lenses will suffer in resolution, chromatic aberration, and barreling/pincushioning rather than the amount of light they pass.

If your camera meters through the lens, it will automatically adjust for any small amount of increase or decrease in the light passed by the lens.

What do you mean by "resolution". Does the glass (poor) quality may reduce the image precision ? You are not talking about resolution in pixels ?

Resolution meaning precision, or not blurred.
