I am looking at getting the Raynoz 1540 as an add-on to my Fuji s100fs. Raynox do recommend the 2020/2025, but as with all of these lenses you get vignetting.

I was interested in the 1540, because of its claimed extremely high definition, and because I reckon that the 2020/2025 will push my camera into aberration quite badly. I cam live with the lower power.

What I am after is for somebody that has access to one of these lenses, so I can find the diameter of the actual glass at both ends. Not the thread, but the glass. I believe the 2020/2025 has a lens size quite a bit smaller than its thread.

I can then mock up a cardboard "lens" to see where vignetting will occur.

Thanks for any help

Nick

I'd have one if they weren't so expensive. I've been buying their macro lenses lately. Hopefully I find a good deal on their telephoto lenses in the near future.
