Default Pentax lens adaptor, KAF2 to K

Hi, i've got a Pentax k-X and an old Pentax K1000. Now I have a couple of lenses for both of these cameras, but I would enjoy being able to use my 300mm meant for the K1000 on my k-X.

I read that my k-X is a KAF2 mount, and my K1000 a K mount.

Now I would like to know wich specific adaptor I have buy to use my old lenses on the k-X.
I found out about an M42 to K lens adapator, but i'm really not sure

And while we're at it, wich adaptor would make my new lenses fit on the K1000s K mount?

You don't need an adapter - the lenses will work just fine. Since they are manual focus lenses to begin with, that is how you will have to use them. I believe there is a menu item you need to change to allow use of manual lenses, though.

No they don't fit. The old lenses are made so you have to screw them on really tight, and the new ones just turn a bit and lock it position.

Then you have the screw mount llenses, and will need the adapter you mentioned in your first post. K-mount is a bayonet type mount, and will fit the newer cameras, but, as I mentioned, without the ability to autofocus, and the auto exposure wil be limited to center weighted.
