Tamron 24-70 2.8 VC for Canon
Just bought the new Tamron for 5d Mark III - generally it makes a great impression, very universal, with good price and vibration control.
The only issue I have is with the zoom - although the zoom ring works quite smoothly, the zoom effect is quite far from being smooth. It simply doesn't correspond with the zoom ring movement. Even if you move it extremely slow, on the screen the zoom movement will be "torn". As I bought it mainly for video, it causes quite a problem.
Did you notice that problem with the Tamron 24-70 lenses? From what I read some of the Tamron lenses tend to have issues like the above. Just want to make sure that this is specific for my copy rather than for every Tamron 24-70.
Looking forward to hear your experience with this lens!
