Default Sony VCL-HGD1758, front lens thread or not?

Just wondering if the lens has a front lens thread or not, as when I looked it up on bh-photo they listed it as not having one, yet the zoomed picture led me to believe that it actually did have a front lens thread. If it does, is it the same 58mm thread as the main lens on the camera body? I'm asking, because I'm trying to decide on a telephoto lens for my F717 and although the lens is more expensive than the others, the cost of having to buy a second set of filters pretty much offsets the price difference.
Thanks NoahG

No, the HGD1758 does not have a front, filter thread. In fact, even though it has one, the price of any filter of that size would be very high.
