I received a CrystalVue LX as a father's day gift for my Olympus 2100 UZ (which is a four-year old camera that is starting to show its age). It also works on my daughter's Olympus 740 UZ.
I've been posting pictures on my web site here: http://www.wanamassa.us/birds2004/al...InJune&pick=14

There is some vignetting with my camera even at full zoom. But not enough to worry me, particularly since I've settled on an 8x5 aspect ratio for my web shots. Means I start my postprocessing by cropping my 1600x1200 to 1600x1000.
However, you can see that I can't get close enough to the eagles to get really good shots. So that's what the "But" is about in my topic description. And I'm wondering about using a Barlow lens to increase the magnification power of the lens. There hasn't been much discussion of Barlow lenses on this forum. Does anyone have any experience?
