Default Filters for C4040

I found a web site that sells 43mm filters for the 4040. The site is www.2filter.com. You order by calling 1-800-882-2832 and talking to a real person. They can sell you 43mm filters, tubes, step up rings and spacer rings. I will let you know how the project goes.

Ready to add that extra edge to your photography? This 43mm Filter Kit is a great way to start. Two filters are included: a UV Protector Filter and a Circular Polarizer. The UV Protector Filter protects your valuable lens from damage and also reduces the bluish tint in images caused by UV light. The Circular Polarizer makes a dramatic difference in outdoor shots by deepening colors, improving contrast, and greatly reducing glare and reflection from glass and water surfaces

When I got my C4040, I had a couple of 46mm filters from another camera--polarizer, rotating ND grad, 812. The I bought a Cokin "A" holder in 46mm. I can't remember now if the 43-46 adapter came with the CLA1 or I bought it separate. Anyway, I use a buttload of 52mm filters from my Nikon film stuff. Just needed a 46-52 adapter. I also use Cokin "P" with a 52mm Cokin ring. Just like any other cameras, you will probably want a polarizer and ND grad to start.
