I have a KODAK PROFESSIONAL DCS PRO SLR/n and i would wantbuy a wide zoom.

I have seen the nikon AF-S DX 12-24mm f/4 G IF-ED but the nikon's web site asserts that: "World's first lens with a smaller image circle optimized for the sensor format of Nikon Digital SLRs such as the D100, D1X, D1H and D1. "

So, tihs lens is good for my camera? or is good only camera that has a smaller sensor?

Have you a idea for another good wide zoom?

This one is a full-frame and is 'silent' as well:

However do you need such a lens when the Kodak Pro doesn't have any crop factor?
