Hi all... this is my first post so be gentle.

I have a Minolta Dimage f100 and noticed these lenses on ebay:

1) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...IT#description

2) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...sPageName=WDVW

So, I have a few qusetions. Are these lenses any good? I know you get what you pay for but these seem to be the only add on lenses for the F100 I can find.
Also, which of the two auctions seems the better offer? The first wideangle lens is .45 the second is .5 which is better?
Finally is the lens better if it has more elements/groups or less??

Sorry for all the newbie questions... hope someone can help:-)

Jonathan

Okay,

I've now been on this site for a few hours and already realise that I have been looking at crap lenses on ebay.

My option now seems to be the raynox HD-3030PRO with this adapter:

can anyone see any problems with this setup??

Thanks

Unfortunately your camera isn't factory designed to accept lenses or other filters, so you need that tripod mounted tube adapter.

As for Raynox, I love their DCR-6600Pro and have heard from others who use other DCR lenses, but haven't heard from anyone who has used their HD lenses.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for rtesponding. I looked at the DCR-6600Pro lens but the mounting is 52mm whereas the mounting on this adapter is 37mm:

The only 37mm mount lens I can find is the semi-fisheye.

Does anyone else know if I can get a full 180 degree lens on my camera using various adapters??

Thanks

J
