I have had the same wish as youfor a long time but have not been able to find any sample photos other than the ones at Lensmate. But nevertheless I have just ordered the Lensmate DCR-250 Macro Lens and will of course post some sample shots here when I get it!

In the meanwhile...I'll keep practisingwith the "built in" macro function.

Nope, the 2 pictures were taken using only the S1. Set at widest angle and approximately at a distance of 4 cm. (1½ inch)

So I'm really looking forward to see what the S1 one is capable of when attached with the DCR-250.

It's been a week now since it was shipped from Lensmate...I guess the local customs in DK wanted to look closer at the package...means more $$$ to pay!

The Lensmate DCR-250 Macro Lens has arrived...and the local customs were nice guys, they didn't open the package! More $$$ has been saved! :-)

Well, I'll go test the lens and give you some sample shots later. So far it has shown me some nice pics. But it is hard to shoot with it handheld.:O:shock:It has quite low shutter speeds when I don't use flash.

I have to borrow/buy a tripod.

See you soon.......I'll go :|

Here is the very first picture I shot with this lens.

The first one is taken with the S1 at its widest angle WITHOUT the DCR-250.
