Default Fuji 3800 and 2x telephoto lens

I have the Fuji 3800 which is a great camera and I also have a Digital Optics 2x Telephoto Lens which fits great! But I do not know how to enable it too work, the manual says too to enable it but I havent found anything in the menu's ?????? :?: :?:

Call the folks at www.2filter.com. I suspect you will need a step up ring to attach the tele converter.

If it fits it should work automatically. The Fuji might have a setting to use with converters, but I've heard it's not really necessary. Are you having some particular problem with the lens? And have you posted in the Fuji forum here?

Telephoto lens work best when the zoom is at its max focal point. Take a pic with telephoto on then take one with it off and you shoulc be able to see the difference.

I purchased the Raynox Pro-1850 1.85X tele add on lens for my 3800 and it works very well. Nothing in the menu to adjust. Very little light loss. Crisp to the edges. Some purple fringing in certain cases at 2.8 aperture/slow shutter speed. Looks nice too cuz it's the same color as the 3800. It's a bit heavy...quite a large chunk of glass. Requires a 55 to 52mm step down ring. There is a Canon 2.4X lens that is quite affordable and is, I think, also a 52mm connection. It might be smaller and lighter with a bit more focal length. Better? Dunno...
