Default Wide angle lense question...

I just purchased a tiffen .75x for my Sony dsc-s85 and being new to photography, I have a dumb question. Do I need to add an external flash in order to utilize. The lense blocks the in house flash.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would say yes. I just go myself af wideangle for my Nikon. The built in flash can do no good, I have to use my external flash. You could also put up some more light on you object.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, Tee! I have the same problem with my Olympus C-2100. Until I can afford a good flash and bracket, I'll just shoot wideangle when there's enough light.
