Hi, I'm looking into purchasing a teleconverter lens for my Panasonic FZ5. Looking around forums etc the TCON-17 seems to be popular but getting it to fit the plastic adapter (ie sanding it) doesn't appeal to me. The Canon TL 55 1.4X gets goodcomments but I can't get hold of it here in Australia.

Does anyone know where I can find it, or recommend any good teleconverters I could buy instead??

Thanks heaps in advance...

Gidday Strads

Check out this link - this guy is the guru on teleconverters -BTW i did sand down my adapter and use the T-Con17 on my FZ5 -the trick is not to sand off too much and to do it very squarely

Bought the T-Con from a Melbourne crowd off Ebay for $160 delivered

If you look at the link -have a look at fmoores profile and follow all the discussions on converters

Cheers Dom
