Default telephoto with stabilization

Aside from the Olympus c-2100, does anyone make a digital camera under about 1000 dollars with a...say, 6-10x optical zoom that ALSO has built in electronic stabilization?

There is a Panasonic with a 12 X stabilzed lens that is reportedly just being introduced in the US that has already been introduced in Europe.

This camera interests me. I just downloaded an image taken with it and I can't fault it.

I'd wait for it to come out.

I forgot to mention my camera, the slightly more polished or semi-professional Olympus E-100RS (for rapid shot). But it is as hard to find or harder than a C-2100 UZ.
