Just found this telephoto lens and I know nothing of photography; just getting started.

Are there adapters that will allow me to use this on the Canon S3?

It's a Kiron 80-200m f/4 Macro 1:4 055 MC with some kind of Hoya (Skylight) filter.

thanks

The Kiron 80-200 is designed for SLR/DSLR rather than digicams. Therefore, it cannot be used on your Canon S3 IS. The only one way that I am aware of is using it for macro with adapters; however, in practice, no zoom lens would yield good image quality. So, just forget this Kiron.

For macro (well, a proper term is close-up) photography, you may use close-up lenses usually expressed in diopters such as +1, +2, +4, etc. Buy doublet close-up lenses for better image quality.
