I have recently purchaseda Panasonic FZ30, I would like to know, which wide angle & tele lenses will enhance the photographs taken.

Also, how much larger image is captured with a 0.7x wide angle lens.

I've used Raynox DCR-730 52 mm wide 0.7x
would be 0.7 x 35 mm = 24 mm on FZ30
It's a good cheap lens, although it gave me also the distortion :-) but PP could solve the problem

Raynox makes some 55 mm lenses http://www.raynox.co.jp
I will consider Olympus WCON and TCON also

Pashminu -

I've used the Olympus WCON-07 (wide angle) and Olympus B-300 (telephoto) add-on lenses. The B-300 has been "replaced" by the TCON-17 (1.7 mangnification) which has received very good reviews. Both lenses have 55mm mounting threads. They are very good quality.

I bought both lenses at Pemaraal Online. (http://www.pemaraal.com/index.html )Very good service. You'll find USA prices there. And they do ship internationally.

Hope this helps.

For the FZ30, consult CK's review/recommendations for addon lens...

I agree with jrozen - thank you buddy for first posting sample pictures and introduce me to these Schneider-Kreuznach (I have both the 0.7X WA and 1.4X tele) used on my FZ5!

However, I don't know how the Schneider do with the FZ30, can't seem to find any post about that.

The FZ30 uses a 55mm attachment - the same as the Kodak Schneider lenses; They are a simple screw-on, no adapters required. My .7 and 1.4 lenses work great. They are a little heavy, but I can compensate for that.
