Default Rainbow Bee Eater chasing insects

G'day all

On my pre-brekky walks I have noticed a family of Rainbow Bee Eaters dancing around a bunch of trees in the park, so the other day decided to forgo the walk and take the camera instead

Here's the male jumping around chasing insects

exif - Panny FZ-200; 24x zoom [625mm film camera equiv]; 1/2500s x F2,8; ISO-320; no cropping, no PP

As always, feedback welcome
Phil

Love these birds Phil, and that's a lovely shot.
They arrived in Perth in early October, but in my local wetland they are in short supply compared to other years.

A great photograph is all the more impressive by the fact that it's straight out of the camera with no processing.
Well done.

G'day fellas

Thanks for your feedback. Zig ... my mobile bird hide was about 8-10 metres from the bird as it danced its way across the grasses seeking insects
