Loved Oculus' stairway cats. Rosie sure liked checking them out.

Hey, what if we started our own infinite cat thread? Seems like there are a lot of cat owners on the forum.

Anybody game? I'll start, and be sure to name and number your cat. Must be looking at the previous numbered cat!

Great idea, Scotious !

And this is #2 - Lucky . Like all ladies , she loves flowers.

AK-66 Dec 20, 2004 12:38 AM

Sorry, I missunderstood the idea, but I don't know how to delete :O

No problem, AK. Rosie liked the picture a lot, anyway. Of course I had to disturb her to come and look at the computer:
Yeah-- the idea was to take a picture of *your* cat looking at a picture of *the last* cat.

Okay, I'll bite. Problem is unlike your cat, all of mine dislike monitors , wouldn't sit still and couldn't wait to get out:lol:This was my best effortfor the night. This is Yao Ming and he's angry at me for preventing his escape.:-) Guess he's # 3.

Scotious Dec 21, 2004 10:06 AM

Wow-- if looks could kill! That cat looks pissed. Nice job. Who's next?

Vito-- you bad boy. I didn't even know you had a cat! Rosie feigned dis-interest, but I think she was more than a little spooked by your red-eyed spooktress. I believe you owe us a shot here, buddy!

I don't have good lighting around my monitor, so I used the flash. Anyhow, here is my try. Sure is hard to get cats to pose when you want to take their picture.

Edited to add: What else would this cat be named? Fluffy.

Scotious Jan 17, 2005 4:53 PM

Very cute the Fluffy. But probably a wee bit older than my 6 mo. old, who I can hardly keep away from my precious LCD display.

Keep 'em coming folks!

K6AZ Jan 17, 2005 9:16 PM

He's about ten years old and missing one eye. He didn't exactly like this photo shoot opportunity! :G

herk56 Jan 23, 2005 3:53 PM

Here's Burt. He's been my sidekick for 11 years. He thinks he's a dog and seldom acts like a cat. He's very outgoing and friendly, but in this picture definitely sleepy.

These are Siamese cats. As you can see, they are called "Siamese" cats because they are connected to one this case, through a shared tail.

As a consequence of this connection, and the fact that one has no paws and the other just one front paw, they rarely leave the back of the couch.

It's ok, though, because they like to watch tv. Unfortunately, do to their physical limitations, the only way they can use the tv remote is for one to turn his head away and use his shoulder to turn the channel while the other watches the screen and holds on for dear life with his paw. Through teamwork, they are able to channel surf without falling off the couch and busting their collective tail.

Actually, we got a good deal on 'em.....a "two-for-one" as it were. We had planned to have them surgically seperated but my wife feared they both turn out half-azzed like me. I pet them often since I don't like to leave the couch either.

Rosie says she would like to donate one of her paws, as you see she rarely leaves the computer, except to eat. She told me to tell you that studies have shown that a shared tail will eventually acquire the same amount of nerve endings as two normal tails.

...very cute Wannabe, but as you see, this thread *requires* that your cat be looking at a previous cat. I will allow the occasional exception, but only for Siamese.

Wannabe Jan 29, 2005 11:22 AM

Actually, the cats are my brothers and I realize it isn't the greatest picture, but I just wanted to try and be funny once in my life.

As for my violation of accepted thread standards, I figured you wouldn't exclude Jake and Elwood just because of their handicap!

Edit: LOL, I don't mean that me and the cats share the same parents, I mean that they belong to my brother!

Rosie is sanguine about this old thread, but deigned to come and look at your composite, JDar. She is rather fond of that devilish Rio, and felt it was, well, rather smashing!
