Rescued him from the train station, hence his name. He sure cleaned up well. He has been my constant companion for 18 years now, and I'm hoping for many more.

Tracks is really a beautiful cat. I have rescued a lot of cats in my lifetime. Right now I am "DOWN" to 18....all spayed and neutered....all needed a home, and nobody to take them....You have some very sharp, crisp pictures there. Good job!

Oh my gosh - 18!! I had 5; one passed away about 3 weeks ago and I posted his picture on the wildlife section because I was afraid to post in here. THe title made me think there would be photos of animals placed in danger, or dressed up in "people" clothes!!

You are one great human being to care for all those lost and previously unloved critters! It's so encouraging for one animal person to "meet" others - and I've found quite a few in these forums.

Have you posted pictures of any of your 18?

P.S. Thanks for the compliment on the photos - Tracks is a beautiful cat and I love him dearly.

Thanks Bob. I found out from the trainmaster that he rode about a mile in her car engine before someone yelled at her that she had an animal under her hood. I don't know how he survived. He had no broken bones, but was sick with pneumonia and really looked like a gray cat when we first got him. As I said, he cleans up good!!!

This pix was taken about 3 years ago, but he is still beautiful and hops around like a youngster most of the time.

I've got my fingers crossed that we have more good years ahead.
