I settled down this afternoon to try to get some photos of birds around my front yard feeders, however, I found I had FAR too much help. Both of my dogs and one of my cats decided to "guard" the bird feeder. I finally gave up and decided I'd take portraits. First is the old guy, Melvin, a short fat dog of uncertain heritage. The grey in the beard is real, but the dust on the chest is due to his choise of spot to lie down.

Plato decided to make his post at the edge of the mud driveway, near the base of the feeder.
