I could fall in love with this pooch.

The harsh white background in the upper left is the only thing that makes it hard to see the full beauty of the picture.

Nice! Cool looking dog. I love the effect of black & white pic w/ the eyes still colored. Very interesting. I also tend to agree about the stark white in the upper left corner.

Thanks for the comments! I'm not really sure how to tone down the white. It was very bright when I took the pic. I also liked the contrast between the light background and black dog.
The uploaded image does look brighter to me than when I'm viewing it in photoshop. Oh well, I'll play around with it and see what I can do

Here's my attempt. I also brightened the eye a bit as it was suggested to me on the dpreview forum.
