This was taken in better days - Tracks passed away in late May of this year. My heart is broken, but my memories are joyful.

Thank you. He was a beautiful friend. Do you have cats? Other pets? Here's another pix of little Tracks.

I feel for you, we lost our eldest cat (Misty) over a year ago now. But no one can take the memories away. When we lost ours, we said no more (we then had 2 cats and 2 dogs), until my youngest son brought home an unwanted kitten, that was six months ago.. she is called 'Lulu'.

Oh Lulu is BEAUTIFUL!!! Aren't you glad you brought her into your life?!? I adopted four kittens back in '94, and had Tracks. One of the "kittens" died in November and then Tracks in May. I thought to myself 'how can I go thru this 3 more times' but I wouldn't trade all the great years. It will be hard, but I will keep them happy and comfy for as long as they want to be here. They will let me know when it's time to go.

More pictures of Lulu, PLEASE!!

I've lost many friends and family members over the years, and I am not ashamed to say that loosing my pets hits me just as hard. Why not? Don't we love them the same? Of course we do. A cat or dog can be just as diffcult as loosing any loved one. Some may find that strange or hard to believe, but not those who love our pets.

Kind regards

This is so true. Many people don't understand and actually take offense, but if you give your heart to another living being, whether it has two legs or four, your heart still breaks when they are gone.

It's nice to "chat " with folks who understand. Thank you for your kind words.

MsPuck, please accept my sincere condolences. Losing a pet is like losing part of yourself. If it weren't for the fact that sorrow can and will be tempered by joy, we might not ever allow another cat or dog back into our lives. After having to put my shepherd/husky down in 1994, I told my wife I was done with pets, it was too painful. Thank God I "moved on" and now, as of one year ago, allowed another one in my life. Her he is at eight weeks.

Her he is a year later, licking birthday cake off his lips!

I only hope my words and pictures will help some... Robert
