Default ISO 800 cat shot with Digital Rebel

Used my tripod (Manfrotto 3021PRO legs and 486RC2 ball head) for some shots at higher ISOs. They are very clean, at least up to 800. Used Parameter 2 (like always) and no editing for this shot. Maybe I should have brightened it a little. I changed the white balance and did +1 EC on another shot in my gallery. Full size of this shot here: http://www.pbase.com/image/21443884/original

Sometimes things look 'warm', I think this was one of those times. I do kind of like the adjusted version too, they are just different. Maybe this one is better because it's brighter.

Here's one with adjusted white balance and +1 exposure compensation, tripod, no flash, ISO 800, F4 for 1/50th sec.
