A great dog portrait, only thing I would change is to remove some of the dead space at the top. I just tried it and going to just above the right ear is about right but still leave the width the same then you have a great balanced photo (3:2 ratio pretty much works)

Funny you should say that Mark. When I took the pic in today to have a print made thats exactly how it was cropped.
