Default Plato (the cat, not the greek)

Hey! it's rainy here in east Texas, which messed up my plans of hiking through my woods and taking bird photos, so I took a photo of my American shorthaired cat, named Plato! He was a rescued cat that I adopted from the girl who does my tattoos...she also runs a cat refuge for rescued cats.

For a cat with a dark beginning, he doesn't seem to have any hang ups about it. He's a great cat! ...except when he decides to shred rolls of toilet paper.

It seems the rain has him feeling lazy as well.

shot with my Olympus e-450, in case you might be wondering.

Jerolin, there is another great mind not a hundred miles from you. This is my Plato.

Your Plato reminds me tremendously of my Plato's mentor, an old warrior named Sylvester that my son rescued from a bad situation. Photo taken not long before Sylvester's death of old age in 2007

Great photo, and I'm glad to see that another Plato has found a loving home.

Paul

(First photo taken with Pentax K20d when Plato decided to get involved as I was fooling with a home made light tent. Photo two taken with FujiS6000.)

Trojansoc: Those are some great looking cats! I'm glad to know that other people are willing to rescue cats!

Hagwild: Thanks so much! he is indeed a very pampered cat. I have a Welsh Corgi that is his best friend.
