Ok. I guess I'm a little ignorant here. I uploaded the picture. Why didn't it show up?

If you are trying to upload the original file, it will not be accepted because it is to large, you will have to reduce to a 256k or less file to upload it. What camera did you get?

Nice. He/she's looking straight at the camera! That's difficult to obtain.

You just need the right treats! Although my dogs don't "trust" the camera. They're scared of the flash, so I try not to use it.

Thanks for all of the kind comments. Macy is a weimaraner. A little over 3 years old. Very good dog. She can't get enough of my kids.

As for the camera. I am really looking forward to learning how to use it in manual. Hopefully I can get good results and actually know what I am doing one day. LOL!

Great to have you on board and glad you are enjoying your camera. With a dog and the kids you will have many opportunities for getting good shots. We have a great bunch here so if you want to learn this is a great place to be. We have had quite a few who started here who knew little and are now making money, and everyone who is willing to learn has been amazed at what they can do.

Looking forward to seeing more from you. Remember to enjoy it!!
