Default Retouched cat!

Im trying to learn more about photoshop. Ive tried to retouch a cat. Please tell me what you think about it.

Before pic only sharpened a bit and resized.


After pic. Retouched, sharpened and resized in Photoshop.

Like the added color to the fur, but the eye is a bit over done for my taste.

I had to see what I could do. Photoshop is so fun and much less smelly than my old darkroom.
