Default Finches Having a Feast

Got a 35-135 a while back and first day I've had time to try it out. Some oxeye was out in the pasture with the petals off but the finches were having a feast on the seeds. Took me about a half an hour to get up to within about 15 feet from them.

Thanks simple...Yes, I started at about 60ft..take 2 or 3 half steps, take a shot, wait a bit and do the process over and over. When first started, said to myself, gee wish I had the 300 on the camera. I didnt try any closer than 15 ft, just watched them a bit and backed out real slow like I came in. Dont think this lens is a keeper, the shot should of been better feather detail.
