Hi Torgny, I meant that, in the snow King would blend right in... you wouldn't be able to see him!

Robert,

Yes, a typo. I should have written "shouldn't have been able to be seen". I understood what you ment.

Met a white Schäfer once a very dark night in the woods. It was a strange impression, fantasy-like (the literary genre I mean) Almost no light.

Guess I could have taken a picture, spotmetering (?) if the Schäfer wasn't moving, preferably with a low light camera and a tripod.

But the moment was magic. A camera would've been out of place

Beautiful pics of beautiful dogs Torgny.
The first one brings me back to the shot you did about 5 weeks ago of her. It was so powerfull, the picture was burnt into my mind. I took a 3 day drive back from France and it was in my head the whole time, she looked so focused. Beautiful.

Not only are they handsome dogs, but the photography is excellent. You captured both dog's personality, and the physical details are sharp, making for good animal shots

Yes,

There is an anarcistic stroke in the American mentality. Used to be stronger. What a pity. Reading H D Thoreau at the moment

Mark,

That's a photographers dream, making pictures that get stuck

Frank,

No, they hate cats. Cats are deceptive and teasing. I hate them too
