Dustin,

I get surprised every time I open the dog photo files after a day's outing. Seems impossible not to get at least one exposure out of ten come out allright (whereas the ratio otherwise is 1 out of approximately 100)

Any lens/camera house seems to be able to make it. I give most of the credits to the model

I'm happy you like my dog pictures. They mean a lot to me

Katsi,

Yes, she's very easy to photograph. I take the chanses when they come - Not a good idea to set up a photo session in the wilderness. I stop when the dogs stop

The dogs stop when I stop

Good thing to remember w/all photo opp's, I guess. (Stopping when it's obviously time to stop.) I still have a tendency to 'overshoot' and then have to scrap so many because they're no good. I've yet to learn to shoot 'with discretion.' Since pixels are free, I've overdone it a bit.

I take my dog, Mandy, to the dog park almost every day, and since getting my new camera, have been taking pix there. One day I was astonished to find that I'd taken almost 300 pix! The setting was on burst mode, but still, WAY too many pix! Got a few good ones, but not even close to 300! We were only there about an hour. Live and learn, eh?

Keep those lovely pix coming .... I love to see your dog photos.

...k...
