Default New family member!

We have taken over a German Shepherd named Dibs. We got him yesterday. he is 1 year and 7 months old. I havenīt had the possibility to take photos outside today due to bad weather, so I just took a couple of snaps inside. I know I have shot with a little to big aparteure but I had to because of really bad lightning. Just wanted to show him to you. More and better shots of him will come

Best regards/Daniel

that's a gorgeous dog. My older brother always had Shepherd's and it was always apparent they were hyper-intelligent and VERY devoted to their master.

good for you on giving him a 2nd chance.

Daniel,

Thanks for sharing. I definitely miss my old German Shepherd . They really are one of the best family breeds IMO (even if they do shed buckets of fur ).

Thanks Rick! He is a wonderful dog. We have only had him for 2 days now, and he is already devoted to us.

Best regards/Daniel

Thanks John!
So you also had a German Shepherd. Cool. This is our third German Shepher. Our last one is a Swedish Police Dog now.

I was training him to be my protection dog at work. I was working with security before. But I got TBE by a tick for about 1,5 years ago, and was unconcious for several weeks, and when I woke up I couldnīt walk or talk. We had to sell him back to the breeder again. It was a sad moment. He was the best dog we have had.

My wife and I have had 3 German Shepherds and 2 Rottweilers.
My wife has also had 2 Labradors before we met.

I am still not 100% healthy since the TBE, but healthy enough to get a dog again. But this one is going to be a family dog. We will train him alot though.

Today we went out on a 10km walk with and of course I took some pics, and I thought I would share them too.

Best regards/Daniel

Here my wife throws him a meatball to search for. It was the first time he did this so we started out easy. He got the hang of it quickly though.

Super, Daniel. Really Beautifull Dibs, great to see him playing in the snow and to see your new family member. Look forward to seeing more.

Daniel, thank you for sharing Dibs with us. He looks happy with your wife in the snow. My boy King says hello to Dibs.
