That is an absolutely beautiful dog. What breed is she? She looks like a golden or a yellow lab.

Yes, she is a yellow lab. Her mother is a black lab, father- a chocolate lab and she earned her color from her grandma (yellow lab)
![]() About a year & 1/2 ago, a man had brought a female black lab to our ferry terminal, looking to give her to a good home. I immediately fell in love with her but opted out from taking her as I didn't want to bring her home, without consulting my husband first. I told him about her and he wanted her but when we went down to the terminal, the terminal assistant had already "claimed" her. Well, as it would turn out, we would inherit one of her babies ![]() She is my first dog and my first picture posted to the forum. Thanks atkison. |

very nice pic!
we breed dogs ourselves and I really know what a cute puppy looks like and this is one of them ![]() Just try a smaller font for the underline. it redirects a little bit from the picture. |

Thanks Chuck & Kex. Yes, I agree...the fonts are abit overbearing. lol
It was a quick frame and a slap job with the fonts. It would be nice to be able to print out all the fonts on a sheet of paper so that I can see them at a glance but I haven't found a site of fonts, nicely laid out (printable). If you don't mind my asking, which breed of dogs do you breed? Prior to Eureka, I really wanted a border collie but opted out as I didn't think I would be a suitable owner for such a breed. The lab proved the best choice for my personality/lifestyle and I've always enjoyed the company of this particular breed. Great family dog. |

Being a fan of larger dogs, I have to say the pyrenean mountain dog sure is a nice looking dog. I just did a search in google

Very pretty dog. From what I understand, they make for a good guard dog and also very loving towards children?
If so, is it that they have a personality that is young at heart or do they posses a nurturing spirit? From what I have read, they seem to have traits that I would think most everyone would want in a dog. The only possible drawback (for some) being size and/or time needed to keep the dog well groomed. He looks watchful, yet laid back. I would almost think he knew you were taking a picture of him, "Here take a side profile pic , my right side being my best" ![]() |
