Trying to do an everyday portrait of a horse

I was focusing for the head.

No, it doesn't show, sorry, but it's not an Icelander. They have very short legs. This one has the common proportions between legs and the rest of the body

Nice shot! The composition in the first photo is right on and I like it better than the raw image because it shows more details about the subject.
