Default My first pet shot

I caught a couple of my cats frolicking out in the snow this morning. I am just learning a bit of photoshop, so i only cropped this image.
Lemme know what you think

I found another usable image...
I darkened it a tad, but otherwise no editing.

That second photo hits the spot! You might try selecting the eyes, then using a small amount of Unsharp Mask on them to bring them out a bit more.

I like the second picture as well. With the cat's tounge slightly hanging out, and the little flakes of snow dropping, it almost makes me think the cat is trying to catch snowflakes on it's tounge. But, with it's tounge only slightly protruding, it's like it's trying to be sneaky about it.

I like both photos. The second one especially, since I am fond of seeing the eyes. Purrcicles? Very cute.

bcoultry,
i am just learning a bit of photoshop, i dont have a ton of time to play around with it. its amazing how you can be fooling with one pic, and all the sudden it 2 hours later. thanks for the suggestion, i will try to mess around with unsharp mask a bit, and see what develops..

A circular crop on the eyes and mouth could be interesting! And perhaps use the unsharp mask on not just the eyes, but the rest of the picture.....unless you want to keep a softer image.
