The Huskey is growing
I caught him in a rare moment where he wasn't moving:

Good job working in high key, great composition, and a cute puppy to boot. Everything went right.

That composition is great. I really like the angle and how the paw in the lower right is so close. Great DOF too.

Thanks all.

I think this one was my favorite because of his giant paw at the front of the image perfectly accentuates how big his paws really are.

Now, if I could get him to be that calm all the time, I could get lots of pictures. :)

The size of those paws shows he's still got a lot of growing to do! Cute puppy. Great shot!

Very nice photos. My friend Ben, our family dog for 15 years, died this week. Pets are great friends.

jsbrown - What a handsome dog! We had a malamute some years ago and I just love the shape of the face and lines of the fur. You captured the detail and color so well in this husky.

gibsonpd3620 - So sorry for your loss. :( They really are family, aren't they? Years later now, I still have a pictures of that malamute and the subsequent cairn terrier (who's also gone) next to my bed. (In fact, I have a pic of the cairn terrier on my desk right in front of me!)

gibsonpd3620. Sorry for your loss.

Jsbrown: I really like the DOF of the paws too. The way the face is turned and the point of the ears adds to the overall composition. Thanks for sharing! He's a doll.

Gibsonpd3620: I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your dear fur friend Ben. My thoughts are with you and yours.
