The pictures are optimized for slideshows. The slideshow button is at the upper right. Please use your loudspeakers. There is some music, progressive music from the seventies in the different galleries.

I like the second version best. Your dogs look happy as usual.

I prefer the first photo. Pretty dogs. Wonder what smelled so interesting?

Calicajun,

Yes, they are happy indeed. Always out in the free nature; mostly without a leash

jj,

Have you noticed, as the months, years go by, how they mature and want to be treated differently than when they were puppies

MIMudPuppy,

Welcome to the forums. I'm pretty sure it's the smell of bog myrtle. I was right behind the dogs crushing some bog myrtle leaves between thumb and index finger

She first felt the smell from my hand, then wondered where that came from

Have you ever felt the scent from bog myrtle. Nothing matches that aroma

Thanks Torgny
I have not experienced bog myrtle. But I am surrounded by cedar swamp, probably the most aromatic trees here would be the balsam firs that line the edges. Crush those needles and it smells like Christmas.
