Default At The Cat Show

Here's a few pics from our visit to this weekend's cat show in St. Paul, MN, USA.



They look grumpy, but these long hairs are very passive.

This guy is mostly hair and my wife called him "The Walrus" for his tusk-like markings on his nose.



This guy features bi-colored eyes. Judge said it's common and doesn't detract from judging.



The cats, fierce competitors all, watch the judge's every move as she hands out the awards. Each cat waiting to see how he or she did.



Shot with Pentax Kx and Tamron 17 to 50 mm lens.
No flash allow of course, so all pics taken at 1600 ISO and cleaned up in ACR.

It really is a trip to see how fancy some of the cat cages are...even cat sized furniture. Some real pampered pussys.
