Default Close up of a Matriarch

She stood there 9 feet tall with younger elephants eating grass from underfoot. i enjoyed watching her and seeing her up close through my lens at what seemed like touching distance. so beautiful

regards,
John

G'day John

Lovely mate - I like it
The composition - the mono treatment - the focus-highlighting of the eyelash ... great

Phil

Very good B/W shot! I thought I was looking at a tree trunk. Is its skin really that broken? Must be old?

Thanks guys, she's in her 60s I believe Raghu. So very old now but still boss of the group. She had been mud bathing lately due to quite a lot of rain so maybe not all cracked skin, some mud too lol
Feedback and kind compliments appreciated as always. Good to see you old friends
