Default Eddie at the beach

Hi "Newbie" here,
Just thought I'd post this pic to see if my link works (and so you could rip apart my composition).
Eddies a rescue dog he was two when we got him and had spent most of his life in "the pound".
This is possibly his first trip to the seaside, he was a little freaked by the waves at first, but as you can tell by the water on his face he got over it.

Thatís a lovely photo and even if Eddy did not have a good start in life, he sure looks happy now. :P

The only thing I might worry about is the sloping horizon but then again the upright posture of the dog looks just right.

Eddie got blessed when you walked into the pound. Most people don't want the older animals, but the older animals sure want people.

The slanted horizon doesn't bother me at all, probably for the reason Costas gave. The only thing I'd do is clone out the thing (pier?) on the left because it detracts from Eddie and also from what is a beautiful photo.

I havent had a chance to play about with any of my photos yet as I just reformatted after a  bug crashed my pc. Thankfully I'd "burned" all my photos to a cd before it happened (something I shall do a lot more regularly). But the breakwater was my concern I must confess.

Psycho, being a newbie myself, I doubt I'll ever be much help to ya, photowise. Barbara's always having to hold my hand. Looks to me like you can hold your own though, as that's a fine lookin' pic of Eddie. He's a good lookin' boy. I can see the awe in his face of seeing a world he'd never seen.

You mustn't rely on me. I'm nowhere near being a professional. Big on ideas, small on results. Really.
