Default Novel cat bed

I was scanning some old negatives earlier when I came across this one I would like to share. This is a picture of our cat Max (3rd most common name in Europe for a cat) taken a few years ago when we had a very hot summer. Max has a thick longish coat and finds the heat uncomfortable but discovered that a cool place to sleep during the day was the bathroom sink. How do they know?

Had to do lots of curves and sharpening to get this looking right.

Cats know everything, they are just not telling.

Costas,

Beautiful setting, beautiful cat, beautiful photograph! You did some great touchup work too. Best Cat Photo of the Year, in my opinion.

That's a great subject for a photo!!!

Perhaps you could run it through NeatImage to try and remove a little of the noise?

Thanks stephendickey but not sure where the noise is

The tiles on the wall have a pattern which I suppose might look like noise in the small JPEG but I would have expected any real noise to be visible in the white sink. Always happy to get to the bottom of these things so not questioning your helpful comment as such.

Costas,

Perhaps it is a combination of the pattern on the tiles and your host sites resizing! Or maybe its my eyes......
